Ken Lanham has worked as a butcher for over 40 years.

He started with a job in Brockdish, then took a succession of jobs in Islington before becoming manager of a butchers in Chingford. Then in 1971, with his wife Lesley and three children, he took over the lease of the shop in Brockdish where he had first started his trade.

Ken and Lesley bought the butchers shop overlooking the village green at Aldborough in 1984. Whole carcasses are delivered from Blakes abattoir of Norwich - all meat supplied is from farms in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Ken and Lesley pride themselves on the quality of the produce supplied in their shop and are always happy to give advice. You are always assured of a warm welcome at Lanhams.
